You will be responsible for:

  • Leading initiatives to develop new materials, inks, adhesives, and manufacturing methods, driving innovation and continuous product improvement
  • Initiating, coordinating, and overseeing development projects, including planning, prioritisation, and successful project delivery
  • Organising and coordinating product testing to ensure compliance with legal, environmental and customer-specific standards
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs, enhance efficiency, and improve overall production performance
  • Lead team development and alignment with corporate strategy, managing budgets and resources plus overseeing patent research and documentation

 

 

Key attributes required:

  • Strong understanding of materials, inks, adhesives, and manufacturing methods within a packaging or labelling environment
  • Ability to identify opportunities for new product development, cost reduction and process efficiency improvements
  • Proven experience initiating, coordinating, and delivering complex development projects
  • Knowledge of product testing, compliance standards, and environmental or safety regulations
  • Effective leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and encourage professional growth
