As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing existing accounts as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities

  • Building strong, lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction

  • Targeting customers in the horticulture, manufacturing, food, retail, e-commerce, delivering engaging sales presentations and bespoke proposals

  • Collaborating with internal teams to meet client specifications and drive value

  • Monitoring industry developments, competitor activity, and market trends to stay ahead!

 

Key attributes required:

  • Demonstrable success in business development or B2B sales within the packaging industry (manufacturer or distributor), advantageous knowledge of corrugated sector

  • Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Excellent relationship builder with the ability to present at a high level
