Compliance Officer | Corrugated | North West | Up to £42k

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring adherence to all legal, environmental, health & safety, and quality standards, including ISO, BRCGS, FSC and Sedex requirements
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and documentation, including EPR and EUDR packaging regulations
  • Leading internal and external audits, managing corrective actions, and monitoring compliance performance and risk metrics
  • Driving quality assurance improvements to maintain accuracy, consistency, and manufacturing integrity
  • Promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement through staff training, cross-department collaboration, and staying informed on regulatory and industry developments

 

Key attributes required:

  • Proven experience in a compliance or quality management role
  • Knowledge of the packaging industry required, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of BRCGS standards essential
  • Strong understanding of relevant UK regulations, including environmental and H&S legislation
  • NEBOSH or similar health & safety qualification preferred
