Business Development Manager | Packaging Distributor | Northern Europe – based in Germany/Poland | €85k - €90k + OTE
A successful European packaging provider with state-of-the-art operations, continuous innovation, strong technical capability, and a collaborative culture, Delivering high performance, compliance, and sustainability to clients. High level backing of expert teams in design, manufacturing/distribution, R&D, and quality assurance.
You will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and winning new business in Northern Europe, targeting pharmaceutical, medical devices, aerospace, automotive and 3PL sectors
- Playing a central role in expanding market presence, launching new product lines, and working with a diverse portfolio including corrugated, flexible, and protective packaging
- Growing and developing existing accounts to deliver higher value, broader product penetration, and stronger margins
- Managing sales cycles and projects end-to-end, ensuring smooth customer implementation and satisfaction
- Analysing industry trends, competitor activity, sector regulations, and customer needs to develop strategies and proposals that differentiate offerings
Key attributes required:
- Proven track record in new business development in packaging
- Experience in account growth & development, achieving upsell, cross-sell, and expanding product portfolios
- Demonstrable sales project management capabilities: planning, coordinating across geographies, tracking and reporting and delivering to tight schedules
- Self-starter, resilient, proactive, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with packaging solutions (distribution / corrugated / flexible / protective) is a strong plus
- Comfortable operating across Northern Europe: working with multiple markets, multilingual advantageous!
