Business Development Manager | Flexible Packaging - Food | UK | Up to £65k plus bonus

A UK-based packaging company that supports brands from early packaging concepts and design right through to print, production, and delivery. They offer flexible packaging and hybrid solutions, particularly combining film with board to cut down plastic use without compromising performance. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, they develop lightweight, recyclable packaging solutions for food and retail products.

You will be responsible for:

• Selling a range of flexible packaging solutions

• Targeting areas for new business growth and on boarding clients

• Developing long lasting relationships with key decision makers

• Maintaining and progressing an active pipeline, maintaining excellent market knowledge

• Leading negotiations on pricing and contracts

Key attributes required:

• Solid experience within the packaging sector, with a strong emphasis on flexible packaging

• Demonstrated success in identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities

• A proactive, hunter-style approach with high energy, enthusiasm, and drive

• Eager to continuously learn, particularly around flexible packaging solutions, with a mindset geared toward opening new markets

• Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships
