You will be responsible for:

  • Designing innovative and functional carton structures that meet client requirements, production capabilities, and brand objectives

  • Creating detailed technical drawings, CAD models, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and structural performance

  • Collaborating with clients, account managers, and graphic designers to interpret briefs and develop effective packaging solutions

  • Working closely with production, die-making, and finishing teams to ensure designs are accurate, efficient, and ready for manufacture

  • Staying informed on packaging trends, sustainability developments, and new technologies within carton and board packaging

 

Key attributes required:

  • Strong understanding of carton construction, board materials, and packaging manufacturing processes

  • Excellent spatial awareness and technical drawing ability

  • Strong attention to detail when producing cutter guides, prototypes, and technical specifications

  • Ability to interpret client briefs and translate them into effective packaging solutions

  • Good communication skills for collaborating with clients, designers, production teams, and suppliers
