Sales Manager - UK & Europe | Packaging Manufacturer | UK | Up to £60k plus car allowance and OTE

You will be responsible for:
Shaping and executing European sales strategies in collaboration with the Board ensuring plans are implemented effectively
Identifying and targeting new business opportunities through market research focusing on prospective customers distributors and key decision makers
Building managing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline using a well organised customer database to track communications and opportunities
Developing and closing profitable deals with new customers while nurturing long term relationships with existing accounts to drive growth in both current and new products
Overseeing all day to day customer and distributor communications ensuring professional timely handling of pricing delivery and issue resolution
Monitoring performance and trends including stock availability and sales data making informed recommendations to the Sales Director to boost results
Key attributes required:
Proven track record in developing new business in the packaging industry – you know the market, the players, and how to win
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with customers at every level, from the shop floor to the boardroom
Commercially astute with a talent for nurturing customer relationships and driving business growth – European market experience is a plus
Agile and adaptable – able to juggle deadlines, shift priorities, and maintain laser-sharp attention to detail
Willing to travel to meet customers and suppliers (both in the UK and overseas), with a full UK driving license and valid passport
