You will be responsible for:

  • Leading day-to-day operations across conversion, logistics, and engineering while strengthening asset care, maintenance planning, and overall reliability

  • Driving operational excellence by improving uptime, waste reduction, running speeds, and overall equipment efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives

  • Building, leading, and developing high-performing teams with clear accountability, capability development plans, and a strong performance culture

  • Owning operational budgets and partnering with the Commercial Director on S&OP and capacity planning to deliver margin improvement and support growth

  • Championing a zero-harm safety culture and ensuring full compliance with BRCGS, ISO, and all regulatory standards while leading factory-wide improvement projects

 

Key attributes required:

  • Senior operational experience in packaging

  • Proven track record in improving factory performance

  • Skilled in coaching teams, building capability, and shifting culture

  • Solid engineering or production background with strong data literacy

  • Commercially aware and financially competent

  • Experienced in Lean/CI, structured problem solving, and transformation

  • Strong leadership presence
