You will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating an 8-colour UV flexographic press, ensuring jobs are produced to specification and quality standards

  • Preparing jobs including cylinder selection, plate mounting, die-cutting setup, ink mixing, and colour matching

  • Monitoring print quality throughout production, making adjustments as required and completing wash-ups and changeovers efficiently

  • Managing production performance by meeting planned run times, updating systems, and working to targets

  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment, supporting ad-hoc production and maintenance tasks while complying with health & safety and shift requirements

 

 

Key attributes required:

  • Previous printing experience, operating UV Flexo presses (preferred)

  • A strong understanding of flexographic printing processes desirable

  • Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to machinery

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality

  • Ability to work continental shifts (3x12 hours rotating pattern)
