Field Service Engineer | Packaging Machinery | South UK | £40k-£50k

You will be responsible for:
Travelling to customer sites across the region to deliver on-site technical support, installations, servicing, and breakdown response
Installing and setting up equipment such as labelling machines, sleeving machines and other automation solutions to ensure full operational readiness
Maintaining accurate service records, job reports, and documentation for internal systems and customer communication
Working closely with the internal engineering, production, and parts teams to coordinate installations, order components, and update service records
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-system faults, carrying out repairs, adjustments, and component replacements as required
Key attributes required:
Strong background in machine maintenance or machine field service, with hands-on experience working on complex mechanical and electrical systems
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities, able to identify issues quickly and implement effective technical solutions
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and machine documentation
Confidence working independently on customer sites with minimal supervision
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, machinery updates, and control systems
