Project Manager/Project Engineer | Packaging Machinery | Herefordshire – Covering UK & Ireland | £41k + bonus

As Project Manager/Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Project managing customer orders, managing timescales and organizing logistics
• Preparing and reviewing detailed tender documentation and layout proposals in conjunction with the team
• Providing outstanding customer service liaising with clients across the food, health and beauty, chemical and pet food industries to name a few
• Managing the revenues and costs of multiple projects and ensuring contract profitability is maintained
• Travelling to customer sites in the UK to clarify technical requirements and commercial aspects of enquiries/orders and across travelling Europe for supplier meetings

attributes required:

• 3 years minimum project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Flexible in approach to travel with the role
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
• A high level of technical knowledge for packaging machinery, understanding installation requirements, with the ability to take measurements
• Desirable packaging machinery engineering experience/CAD experience, although not essential
