Operations Manager | Packaging | Manchester | Up to £80k

An award winning packaging manufacturer, serving customers in the UK and continental Europe. They provide graphic and structural design services, as well as litho and flexographic printing with a wide range of finishing services.

Delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, ensuring the highest quality standards and best-in-class services to meet the diverse needs of their global clientele.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the day to day running of the site, operating as one of the most senior people on site
• Implementing and monitoring KPI’s
• Leading and managing daily operations across production, logistics, and supply chain
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production processes
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, including ISO 9001:2015
• Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics

Key attributes required:

• Proven experience in operations or production management within the packaging industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001:2015
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction
