Design Manager | Corrugated Packaging | West Midlands | £40k – £45k

An award winning corrugated packaging group with a focus on innovative product development, is offering one of the most extensive packaging product ranges in Europe. This company is has experienced rapid growth and are looking to expand their team!

As Design Manager you will be responsible for:

• Managing a team of Designers – Graphic Designers and Structural
• Taking briefs from customers, account managers or other stakeholders
• Producing new design solutions for clients using CAD software
• Incorporating quality assurance and control processes into packaging design, ensuring adherence to relevant technical and regulatory standards for product packaging
• Testing packaging specifications on demand and providing associated written report to stakeholders

Key attributes required:

• Knowledge of CAD software essential working with corrugated packaging
• Familiarity with value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives is desirable
• Proven track record of delivering design projects
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with strong
• Basic knowledge of graphic artwork development and printing methods
• Minimum of 2 years in packaging development
