Senior External Account Manager | Print and Finishing Machinery | Midlands | £50k – £60k, OTE £90k – £100k

Global print machinery specialist that designs, manufactures, and supports a wide range of printing solutions for businesses and consumers.

Providing comprehensive printing solutions, from office equipment to high-end print production and large-format printers, while also offering services to optimize printing efficiency for businesses.

As Senior External Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing client accounts as well as sourcing new business within the Midlands and North UK area, maintaining a focus on growth
• Managing and owning the project cycle
• Delivering effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for high profile clients including with commercial printers and business communications sectors
• Providing technical input and expert advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards
• Attending and leading meetings and taking / influencing key briefs from clients; showing a clear understanding of requirements

Key attributes required:

• Background in the print or finishing equipment industry highly desirable, although a print background will also be considered
• Proven and credible relationship builder with customers
• Track record for delivering client solutions as well as developing business
• Strong negotiator and possessing consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders, and team members
• Solid financial reporting and forecasting experience with excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
