A well-established corrugated packaging manufacturer operating across two sites in Cambridgeshire, they design and produce everything from retail-ready packs to intricate die-cut and printed cartons for a broad range of industries.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing innovative corrugated packaging structures using CAD software and 3D modelling tools

• Developing and testing prototypes, conducting material analysis and structural integrity testing

• Producing detailed technical documentation for production and retail environments

• Redesigning existing packaging to improve style, functionality, cost-efficiency and ease of assembly

• Delivering cost-saving and complexity-reduction initiatives on customer projects

Key attributes required:

• Proven experience in structural packaging design, ideally within the corrugated packaging industry

• Proficiency in relevant CAD/design software (such as ArtiosCAD or similar)

• Strong spatial awareness and a keen eye for detail

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across sales, production and customers

• A creative, problem-solving mindset with a practical understanding of manufacturing restraints
