Press Mechanical Engineer | Print Machinery | Midlands | Up to £50k

You will be responsible for:
  • Installing, investigating and repairing mechanical faults across a range of printing equipment, ensuring issues are diagnosed and resolved efficiently
  • Planning and preparing the correct parts, equipment and resources required to complete repairs effectively and minimise customer downtime
  • Supporting customers and internal teams with the identification and selection of spare parts and technical requirements
  • Delivering exceptional customer service on-site, providing professional technical support and ensuring the best possible customer experience
  • Working closely with technical support, service and parts teams to resolve more complex faults and ensure customers receive an efficient service

Key attributes required:
  • Strong mechanical engineering experience, ideally supported by a recognised engineering qualification and a broad range of mechanical and electrical skills
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach to mechanical issues
  • Confident working independently and managing priorities across multiple customer sites
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and sharing technical knowledge across the engineering team
