Multiskilled Service Engineer | Corrugated | North West | £ Competitive Salary

You will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across all equipment to ensure optimal performance

  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults to minimise downtime and improve reliability

  • Supporting production teams with machine setups, changeovers, and performance improvements

  • Maintaining accurate documentation, including maintenance logs, parts usage, and service reports, while ensuring compliance with health & safety standards

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and liaising with suppliers, OEMs, and contractors to enhance efficiency and performance

 

Key attributes required:

  • Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance or Service Engineer within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Hands-on experience with relevant machinery such as folder-gluers, die-cutters, or print / finishing equipment

  • Solid understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics, with a proactive, problem-solving approach and focus on continuous improvement

  • Experienced within packaging, print, or corrugated environments
