You will be responsible for:
Operating a range of Bobst print and packaging equipment, including folder-gluers, flatbed die cutters, casemakers and flexographic printing presses
Running production machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements
Setting up and adjusting machines for new jobs, monitoring performance and quality throughout production, and making necessary changes to minimise downtime and maintain output standards
Carrying out routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubrication and basic checks, while promptly reporting faults or issues to the engineering team
Recording and coordinating production data such as output, waste and job times, while working collaboratively with colleagues to meet targets and maintain a clean, organised workspace
Key attributes required:
Strong experience within a fast-paced manufacturing, print or packaging environment, ideally with exposure to industrial machinery
Ability to operate or support production machinery, with good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes
Strong attention to detail with a clear focus on quality, accuracy and maintaining high standards
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to meeting production targets and deadlines
Good understanding of health and safety within a production environment
