Job description

Are you an experienced Gluing Operator looking for a role where your skills are recognised and rewarded? You’ll work hands-on with modern folding and gluing machinery, producing high-quality carton packaging for well-known brands. The work is varied and technically interesting, from straightforward runs to more complex multi-point and specialist builds, so no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining carton gluing machines to meet production and quality targets
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure cartons meet customer specifications
  • Troubleshooting machine issues and make adjustments to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
  • Completing accurate production records and maintaining traceability
  • Collaborating with production and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery

Key attributes required:
  • Previous experience operating gluing machinery within the carton or packaging industry
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products
  • Good understanding of health, safety, and quality procedures within a manufacturing environment
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
