You will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating folder gluer equipment, ensuring jobs are produced safely, accurately and efficiently in line with production schedules and specifications

• Monitoring machine performance throughout production runs, making adjustments and troubleshooting mechanical or quality issues to minimise downtime and maintain productivity

• Carrying out regular quality checks, ensuring finished packaging meets required specifications and taking prompt action to resolve defects or inconsistencies

• Completing job changeovers and preparing materials, ensuring efficient transitions between production runs while maintaining high standards of accuracy and housekeeping

• Working closely with the wider production team, achieving output targets, reducing waste and contributing to continuous improvements in quality, efficiency and performance

Key attributes required:

• Previous experience operating folder gluer equipment within corrugated, print or packaging manufacturing

• Strong mechanical and technical ability, with the confidence to set up equipment, make adjustments and troubleshoot issues effectively

• A keen eye for quality and detail, with pride in producing consistently high-quality finished products

• A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to take ownership of your workload, solve problems and keep production moving

• A strong team player, with a safety-conscious attitude and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a fast-paced production environment
