Electrical Engineer | Print Machinery | North UK | Up to £55k

Supporting commercial and packaging printers across the UK, you'll work with advanced press technology, tackle varied technical challenges and develop your expertise alongside an experienced engineering team.


You will be responsible for:
  • Installing, investigating and repairing electrical and mechanical faults across a range of printing equipment, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
  • Diagnosing complex machine faults and providing effective technical solutions to minimise downtime and maintain production performance
  • Planning and preparing the correct parts, tools, equipment and resources required to complete scheduled and reactive repairs
  • Supporting customers and internal teams with the identification of spare parts and technical requirements, ensuring the right solutions are provided first time
  • Providing professional, customer-focused technical support, clearly communicating issues and solutions to ensure an excellent service experience

Key attributes required:
  • Strong electrical engineering experience, ideally supported by a recognised electrical or engineering qualification
  • Excellent electrical and electronic fault-finding skills, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Experience working with complex industrial machinery, automation, controls or production equipment, with print experience advantageous but not essential
  • A confident, customer-focused communicator who is comfortable working independently across different customer sites
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and sharing technical knowledge
